• Three faces of Unison

    Lifestyle |
  • Our outstanding Brisbane apartment complex Unison is attracting fans from every walk of life.

The soon-to-be residents of Mirvac’s landmark Brisbane development Unison at Newstead, a Mirvac Design project, are packing boxes and preparing to move into the stunning apartment complex that boasts sweeping views of the city and river. Here are just a few of the people who now call this exciting community home.

    Bought sight-unseen

So confident were first-home-buyers Amy Carseldine and Matthew Chesnais in their choice of apartment at Unison they bought their new home off the plan from their previous base in the UK.

Amy says the apartment’s supremely liveable features attracted the pair to Unison. “It offers a great mix of space, design and convenience. We were immediately drawn to the huge entertaining balcony and lifestyle, which complements the apartment’s central location just two kilometres from the CBD,” she adds.

The abundant storage and spaciousness of the apartment were immediate attractions. As were the incredible elevated garden podium and the waterfall edge pool, perfect for cooling down in the warm Queensland climate.

The ample outdoor spaces including the communal kitchen, entertainment hub and functional gym, all with breathtaking views, are also major drawcards.

    Part of the Mirvac family

Eric and Paula Steed are the lucky homeowners of one of the flagship three bedroom pavilion apartments at Unison.

The Steeds fell in love with their new home as soon as they set eyes on the wow-factor views from their 20th floor position.

“The location is great; we’re now within walking distance to everything we love to do. Now we barely drive anywhere,” Paula says.

The couple is excited to use the outdoor facilities. As residents of the nearby Park by Mirvac complex, they have been so impressed by their current apartment they wanted to find another quality Mirvac development for their next home.

“We didn’t look at any other property. We really loved the quality of our home at Park and we wanted the same experience at our new home,” she adds.

    Investment potential

Peter O’Keeffe has invested in the Unison development and believes it has many benefits.

“I’m a long-term real estate investor and I was attracted to Unison’s close proximity to the nearby
Gasworks precinct, which adjoins the development. It’s excellent real estate,” he says.

Peter says Unison’s proximity to the city, and the ability to quickly access arterial roads and tunnels to get out of town, also make it an attractive option for an investor.

“It’s the area that makes it so attractive as well. There are lots of open spaces and it enjoys a very pretty local outlook. I live nearby and can vouch for the location,” he says.

There’s something for everyone at Unison, whether you’re a first home buyer, downsizer, family or empty nester. Situated in such an elegant location, Unison is hard to beat for anyone looking for a Brisbane property purchase.
